pick n pay asap
I have ordered food from pick n pay asap, first last week friday but i didnt receive my order but i paid for it, 7days later i managed to get a refund from pick n pay which is today. I once again placed an order that they said was deliered but i dint receive anything yet again to be charged for goods i did not receive. It might not be much for pick n pay but it was all the money i had for food which leaves me in a situation where i have to go without food due to their error.

11 Dec 2022, 15:14 The past two years I have been put through the most testing times that I have experienced thus far during my life, I weathered storms that too many people in our country have to accept as their normality which is hunger. A reality where we don't question, cry and fight against the fact that for the foreseeable future it is futile to rage at the unfairness of the suffering which is hunger. Hunger is a fire, It does not sear with fire to a good steak, it dissolves you from the inside slowly while you learn to endure to live with it daily.
These past two years which has seen me at the final chapters of an end to a twelve-year relationship where he has bountiful in his new million dollars Sunninghill Sabi Sands complex included was the ten years younger husband. Cash bought, the house not the husband whilst simultaneously forcing me out of the home, we had shared for almost a decade with less than the bare necessities at my disposal and stress on how to buy food and pay rent which is an either-or situation at this moment.Being let down by these orders has led me to experience days where I have very little or nothing to eat.
Only once have I experienced such hunger before, When I was 14 years old, living in Olivedale, Randburg. My stepfather was struck with a stroke that left the only breadwinner bedridden, my mother, a strong headfast housewife took to task the role of a full-time nurse he needed, and a brother who provided support and strength where her strength failed in the physical demands of his care. Everybody was hungry in our household while my stepfather's medical care exhausted our finances. I decided to look for a part-time job after school and I asked for such at the Pick n May, Mini Market Olivedale. Back in 2003, They declined at first but after some time and an encouraging word from Resected Rodney, head of the nearby community where we resided. Hence I started a year going to grade 9 and going to work at the pick 'n pay from 5 -8 in the afternoons packing grocery bags, and subsequently other positions as well. The mini market changed owners from Shervin, The best good guy I have ever met who'd just suffered a tremendous family loss, to Ruben. A truly honest and always fair even when fairness was a hard thing to do. Between supervisors Betsie and Joyce Managers Grace Chipowe & Nelly, the Security guard lady that protected me during an armed ******* one night in 2003 while I was a cashier there. Between the ladies and gents by the bakery and the storehouse workers, made sure my strive saw me have more meals than what I would miss that year. Ruben was and hopefully was such an inspiration, respectable. With the change in ownership came the renovation and expansion of the Mini Market into A Family Market and indeed a second family to me during the year 2003 before we had to move because we lost our house and had to move to the free state. Pick n Pay was indeed my family and to be in similar circumstances currently Is extremely challenging because my true family has no qualms to minimize my situation and ignore lending support I gave free and willingly as I always would is followed by the letdown by Pick N Pay, who's forgotten theirs for long family. When Ruben took the responsibility of owner and leader he had a saying that he plastered all over the staff areas at Pick n Pay on paper and cardboard, it Read: I'm watching you! He watched as the good and the bad played out and steered the ship into calmseass where possible but had a stern hand for justice and what is right. If he were watching this situation it would have been resolved only faster than a solution preventing or at least minimizing any such incident in future. Ruben isn't watching this unfold as once heroes turn into villains there is only one that always watches, God in who we can trust our fate and such it will be as it has always been.
