Pick n Pay and TymeBank not accepting coin deposits

I had a bad experience with pick n Pay - elspark(king fisher). I wanted to deposit R700 R5 coins for my son savings into TymeBank account. The teller called the supervisor by the name of Gladys who clearly said she is not taking R5coins and I should go to the bank. I made an argument that my bank is TymeBank and they denied. I really need a clarity from pick n Pay and TymeBank. If TymeBank doesn't take coins from their branch which is pick n Pay where should we make deposit? Or maybe TymeBank is not a bank it should just close.
