Pick n Pay AKA *******

On November 4th I sent my brother to buy the Stork margarine special at Pick n Pay at R70 for two 1kgs. The next day I saw the slip and realized that we were charged R80 for two and that for some reason, according to the slip, our smart shopper card was not swiped but it in fact was. I messaged them on Facebook on November 5th and told them about the overcharge and they told me that because the store I purchased from is a family store, I didn't get the special, they don't usually run the specials. I then asked if it's a case of false advertising because how do you advertise a special and then not apply the special? We're just fooled into thinking it's a special but it's actually not. Also, how is a 1kg tub of Stork all of a sudden R40 instead of the normal price of R47. So it's a special, just not the one they advertised? Still false advertising? They chose not to respond to that message or fix the problem until I messaged again on the 7th of November about an overcharge of eggs. The tray was R63.99 on the shelf but scanned at R70.99 at the till. They asked for my details and supp**** me with a reference number, I then didn't hear from them again until I followed up on the 16th, they responded on the 18th saying they will escalate again and then said their team claims to have been trying to contact me. On the 15th, the day before I followed up, I received a number of calls from a number that either cut the call every time I answered the phone or cut the call after a ring or two. I told them that if that was their person, they did a really horrible job at trying to contact me. They then again chose to ignore me, I messaged them again today and have not received a response. They always say they're dealing with high volumes when it's actually just an excuse to ignore your message or maybe there's that many people they're *****ing from too. R15 is not a lot of money but I will not allow a company as big as Pick n Pay to just take it from me like I owe them and still not take steps to rectify the issue. They are just a bunch of ******* *****ing from people who are just trying to live. It is ******* and ********* and I will not be quiet until they fix it!
