Pick n Pay AIM Microwave Repair not refund/exchange policy sucks

I bought a microwave at Pick n Pay Meerensee on 11/06/2021. Today ,15/05/2021 I returned the microwave because it burnt. They refused to refund me as their "Nu world" policy states that it must be sent for evaluation and repairs for 14-21 days!! No one explained this policy on purchase,neither is it visible at the appliance section of the shop! The 20lt AIM microwave states a 2 year guarantee! The store manager said that no one told me I'd be refunded within this period. I will never support PnP ever again! I left the microwave,they can do whatever they want with it!!
