Pick n Pay Advertised Prices differ from the Till
This is getting me down now! I buy a three pack of Halls Lozenges which are advertised for R19.00 for the three back. This price is displayed in a big font right by the till. When the product is scanned it goes through at R19.99.
Normal story from management, we apologize please stand in the queue to fill in your details etc and wait for a refund. What a waste of time for R1 but I think they count on the consumer being in a hurry. This is not the only store where I have found continual pricing discrepancies, the other store is Montclair Durban where I have found so many price discrepancies that I must have my own refund book!

The problem that I have is that the consumer becomes Pick n Pay's price checker because for them, if you spot an error they give you the difference back and if you do not they keep your money. Win, Win for the ******* but the best the consumer can hope for is to get back what is rightfully theirs.

I can only imagine the amount of money Pick and Pay are taking from the consumers this way. It actually pays them to have *********** staff who do not update the shelf pricing because they make money out of it!

All I can say is find somewhere else to shop
Please accept our apologies for these pricing discrepancies, and for the inconvenience caused.
I have escalated this matter to our KZN Regional office for their attention, and they will be in contact with you shortly.
