Pick n Pay 3Arts Village - DISGUSTING
I have resorted to writing a review on this platform due to a lack of due diligence from Pick n Pay 3 Arts Village. On 22/07/2022 I lodged a complaint to with them and I received automated correspondence to acknowledge my expression of dissatisfaction.
I emailed back to express that I wished that my complaint was dealt with by an actual complaints handler and a lady by the name of Keone Moodley responded, first responding by auto filling the details. It was a joke really. She later sent an email, a personalized email to advise that she had actually escalated my complaint to the 3Arts Village complaints team as it was misdirected. That is literally where it ends. Last Friday afternoon a hour before 6pm the manage, whom I was complaining about telephoned me in a rather 'would not be bothered' mood and asked if that was the best time to speak. I advised him that I was available to take his from 6pm and he never phoned back. I will give context below:
On 22, July 2022 I laid a formal complaint against the store manager at the mentioned Pick n Pay as well as the actual store. The night before I decided to go to the store to get a few things for supper. I bought a whole chicken, garlic rolls, rice food and I saw that my favorite Juice Sir Juice was also on mark down by 50% and I did not pay mind to this and I proceeded to pay. To cut the long story short, the food was off and not edible and the juice gave off a funny texture. I called them and I was told to come back to the store the following day. I have screenshots of these interactions and the email exchanges.
I went the following day, the said manager could not be bothered and asked one of the people who worked at he store to assist me and before he left he advised that that 'for my own education' next time if I see something on mark down I must know that it is ready to be consumed immediately. He said the juice was on artese (sp) as if I am supposed to know what that means as a customer. He further left me and asked the lady, please refund him the exact amount, no apology, no acknowledgement of my issue. I feel that Pick n Pay does not really care about its consumers and that time they are benefiting from the amounts of money we spend there. For a complaint to be logged, no SLA given around the time which my issue can be dealt with and to be fobbed of to a store manager who is full of attitude and not invested in ensuring a customer is well taken care of. This is beyond a joke considering how expensive things are these day. Pick n Pay, as a brand mirrored a very negative branding approach and I DEMAND my complaint be dealt with. I am a customer and ALL customers matter.
