Pick n Pay

I bought a kettle at Prominade Pick n pay and asked there if I have a problem with this item should I return it to any pick n pay they said yes... Yesterday I went to RIVER PARK PICK N PAY Kuilsriver they said they they do not take stuff from other stores which from other Pick n Pays... Why do companies want us to always pull the race card. I thought if I bought anything and this store I could return it anywhere
