Pick and Pays new approach
Strange normally my reviews on pick and pay would be bad, however i have noticed a trend where pick and pay is actually trying and succeeding in outdoing Checkers prices recently. Example Checkers advertised recently buy 3 x baby soft 12 rolls at R120, which i promptly bought, only to find out that they were mini rolls 200 sheets per roll. Clicks sells 2x18 rolls 350 sheets per roll at R140, now work it out 150 sheets more per roll, much better saving. Checkers blue ribbon white bread R12.99 pick and pay R25 for 2 is R12.50 ea. Sunlight dishwasher R23 checkers P&P R20 Garbie black bags checkers R30 P&P R27. All gold tomato sauce checkers 2 for R55 P&P R25 for 1= R50 for 2. Mrs ***** chutney checkers R55 for 2 P&P R26 for 1=R52 for 2. Back to toilet rolls checkers R200 for 2x baby soft 18 per pack. Clicks for the same R140. Pork braai chops per kg at P&P R60. Checkers Handy andy R22 P&P R18. Now i must admit the quality at P&P always exceeds checkers, so if P&P keeps this up checkers is going to lose out. Also cheaper at P&P Stir fry livewell R25. Colgate triple action toothpaste R22. Catmor cat food R55. Black cat peanut butter R29 for 400g. Nola mayonaise R26. Protex soap 200g R11ea compared to checkers R10 For 150g. But i must be honest stock is not always available due to bad stock controllers. Also the old argument both are not very helpful to pensioners due to the buy 2 or 3 for R00. Pensioners mostly only receive R2000 - R5000 per month and only need 1 of each item, not 2
