Pick and Pay unfairness

I went earlier on to day to Pick 'n Pay Heidedal Branch to draw Standard Bank Insta Money that I was sent. I tried to be as early as I can since I had few urgent errands to complete with the same money which were of an urgent matter. Unfortunately I did not know that today is a national pensions day for the elders. So as usual I qued an one check point only to be told that there isn't enough money in the till. So I asked if she can ask others, she said no I need to go queue agai - to be told the same thing a***. At least the other lady referred me to the liquor store. Which by the way I joined a 3rd queue - and sad to say I was told exactly the same thing. Them left with no choice and running out of time - went to the manager, who boldly told me that they are not giving out Standard Bank instant monies today since the priority is given to pensioners. So out of inquisitiveness I enquired if this could be the national standard way of doing things, which he said no but he just can't help.
