Pick and pay staff

My local Pick and pay liquors, Glen Curve, put out specials on liqur that doesn't sell quickly. I went in there today may the 13th. Someone from head office marched in and reserved the very good whiskey that was on sale. He actually followed the guy who was putting it out in the sale trolleys and plucked it out of his hand.There was only I bottle each. I as a customer did not even get an option to choose. I might have taken none. I might have taken one. The point is that it seems head office staff get preference. If that is the case, then it should not even be put out on sale.
