Pick and Pay sham with Smart Shopper Card Vouchers

recently bought a TV asa Black Friday special. Was only available at P&P Irene. Long story to get someone to help you. They gave me a voucher of R50 using my Smart Shopper Card. gave the voucher to my wife. She offered it aspayment at Southdowns P&P. Long conversations with various people up and down the chain. They concluded it can only be used if she produced my Smart Shopper Card. Now I take the voucher and go the P&P Doringkloof with the required Smart Shopper Card in hand. Again confusion and a long up and down ending with a manager who wants to know where I got it? When he heard Irene P&P he declared I can only get the voucher used as payment at that store. Nowhere were any of these rules, that seems to be made up as you go, been written or communicated initially. You buy at P&P as a large chain and think you can get it honoured with them, but no. I told the Doringkloof P&P manager he can keep that card as it means in effect I cannot use it as I do not go to Irene P&P except if I have to buy something only they had. So as far as I am concerned the whole Smart Shopper Card story is again one big misdirect and frustration. Nothing simple and straightforward. Misguiding and false promises. Disgusted I wasted my time for nothing.
