Pick and pay Rotten meat

Purchased a cold meat polony pack at pick pay capricorn, muizenberg, Capetown ,via the online app. Opened it and made a sandwich. That same evening wanted to use more of the product but it appeared dark in areas as if rotten. How could a meat product spoil so easily, only thing I can determine is that the product was not kept at the proper temperature up until bring delivered. My family member who ate on the 1 got really sick. Pick and pay must improve quality and service, this matter stinks of rot.
