Pick and Pay in Pinlands - Disappointing

Yet again, P & P in Pinelands (Howard Centre) run out of stock on items which are advertised as specials. They lure customers into the store, and then are out of stock. This has happened often enough - eventually they offer you a rain cheque, after several visits, once the offer is "over". Today is is long life milk on special for the Black Friday week-end (three days), But they are sold out of all variants by 12 noon on Saturday. "Will there be more stock tomorrow?" I ask. "We don't know. I don't think so." Long life milk has a shelf life over over six months, so why did Pinelands Pick and Pay once again have insufficient stock? When I receive those WhatsApp messages after shopping with my Smart Shopper card, I invariably comment on this ongoing problem. But it seems to no avail. The Pinelands P and P is slack because of lack of competition. Let's hope the Checkers outlet opens sooner rather than later! "No rain cheques for Black Friday" I am told. I have to help the lady concerned - "I that case you need to apologise politely". I have wasted my petrol and my time, once again.
