Pick and Pay Gordon's Bay poorly trained staff - management's fault.

I despair of the management at P and P Gordon's Bay. Was previously moved to tweet about chaos in store caused by IT problems (not avoidable, I understand), but nobody from management was on hand to reassure staff or customers, leaving the frontline employees to deal with customer ire. When I asked to speak to the manager (I had a suggestion to ease the situation), I was shocked to be informed "he is busy upstairs". I did receive a reply to my tweet from the online team, asking for my details, but as I have a life, I did not get back to them, but assumed they would deal with it without further input from me. Yesterday I had an insight into how little training the staff receive. After paying for my shopping, I was handed 3 card things, with sports people on the front. I asked the cashier what they were for, she just shrugged. Kudos to the packer who went to ask senior, who obviously knew no better, and she returned to tell me "it is some kind of game". Now isn't that an effective promotion - I have three cards that I know not what to do with? I think I shall hurry back to get more, NOT. OMG, these poor staff. Can I come and provide some training to these customer facing staff - their jobs would be so much more pleasant, and they would be so much more loyal and productive, with a bit of care from management.
