Pick and Pay customer not important
Pick and Pay customer not important
I used to be a great supporter of Pick and Pay They were my go to supermarket. Buy this all changed on the 15th. The 15th is my pay day so I went to Pick and Pay Atterbury after work got into the shop @17h20, Started at the Pharmacy had to wait because the label machine was not working (10 min.) Then paid at the Pharmacy and continued shopping. At five to six I was flank by 2 security officers and told that the shop is closed I must leave, if PnP is so obsessed with closing at exactly 6pm then why did they allow me in, this is a supermarket!, if I wanted bread and milk I would have gone to the cafe. So this upset me as I was a quarter of the way with my shopping and was told to leave. I had not bought any food items yet. At the till my Tyme Bank card was declined (I was paid that day so my whole salary was in my account) My Purchase was processed again - still not going through by this time I was irate, I got kicked out and now the PnP system will not accept my card. Jerry the manager came to help and told me that it’s my card that is faulty or that I don't have any money in my account. He stood back and folded his arms. I was not leaving without My purchase, either he process my card but my groceries will go with me paid or not. Jerry decided not to deal with me anymore and walk away to rather point and laugh at me with his colleagues. The front end controller remained professional at all times and got my card through after 2O minutes. To her I say sorry that I got angry and thank you. To Gerry and PnP I say that I am DONE doing my monthly Grocery shopping @ PnP. I completed my shopping at Menlyn Main Spar (R5000). That was the last time I will do my Grocery shopping at PnP Atterbury. I phoned the customer care line that same night which was 7 days ago and I still have not heard a word or mail nor text from PnP customer care. Obviously they don't want my business and they are prepare to play 2nd fiddle to Checkers the Market leader in SA supermarkets.
