Pick and Pay Click and Collect - shocking service
I used the online click and collect service at Pick and Pay and was extremely dissatisfied because : 1. They charged an exorbitant price for 18 toilet rolls - much more than any other retailer 2. I booked a slot for collection, drove all the way there - the slot was indicated between 1700 and 1800 on a Saturday. Upon arriving just after 17:00, the shop was closed - there wasn't a staff member in sight and the click and collect service was closed too so I could not even phone to complain about this 3. When I phoned , it took a long time to try and track my order on Sunday 4 They said they were looking for my order at the branch (so why look for it on the Sunday if I was supposed to pick it up on the Saturday already?) 5. I had to sent someone as I was since exposed to someone who tested positive for the virus and I am in isolation - upon arriving, they only had 4 items which I have ordered - I wasn't informed at all either via email or message on my phone , but they were very quick to subtract all R760 from my account, without informing me that they only had 4 of the ordered items in stock 6. In the meantime, customer services phoned me back while I have already sent someone to collect my items. When I complained, they told me some items were out of stock due to the virus - I explained that that wasn't the issue but their bad service is- I received no help to date to get my money back and neither did I get a formal apology from the manager at Pick and Pay Faerie Glen in Pretoria or click and collect. I was informed that I now had to wait for them to pay me back.
This is one of the worst experiences I have had with any retailer ever before. To abuse clients like this in a time when clients need your service the most is shocking. Rika Tome
