Pick and Pay

As I left Pick and Pay with my groceries the security scanner triggered The store was full and everybody was starring at me which was embarrassing. I informed the security that this is embarrassing. The security guard asked me very abruptly for my slip. I had to wait about 10 minutes for them to check that I had not ****** anything in front of everyone. The security then gave back my groceries with no explanation or apology. I asked why the scanner triggered and they told me it happens often due to issues with soft barcodes.
