Pending debit order when payment is already made.
I sent a request to PnP to request an updated statement of my Pick n Pay Store account to see why my account shows that I am on negative balance (- R 1 458.34). I have absolutely no idea where this amount comes from and I urgently need your assistance or a valid explanation. I used my Pick n Pay Store account on 01 May 2019 at 19h00 after which I received a sms that stated that I still have R 713.00 credit on my account. On Saturday 04 May 2019 when I tried to use my card in store I was unable to make use of my card as it stated I am on a negative balance of - R 1 458.34???
It was a massive inconvenience and embarrassment to me on Saturday in store when I had to make calls for somebody to come from home and assist me with payment in store when my credit did not want to go through.
How is this possible? I have made payment of the amount of R 2 173.00 on 28 April 2019 for my April statement. I attached my April statement, proof of payment for this statement, as well as a screenshot of the sms stipulating that I still had credit of R 713.00 on 01 May 2019, to me email request.
Jonothan from Pnp rep**** to me email and just stated that there is a pending debit order for the amount of R 2 712.02. Why on earth do you want to debit me when I already made payment????? I NEVER EVER gave permission that PnP may debit my account. I make an EFT payment every month before month end.
your urgent assistance in this regard would be greatly appreciated.
