peeve n play attitude
On 03-12-2018 I visited Pick n Pay Malvern to purchase just two items. Upon arriving at the kiosk I saw one till in operation with two cashiers processing a customer's load-filled trolley of groceries. I enquired whether another till was opened to process my two items and the assistant said no and sent me to till 12 stating that it is an express tillpoint. I arrived at till 12 only to be told by a ride and obnoxious TESSA that till 12 is closed. I told her that I've been given the run around and was peeved but she blatantly ignored me which not only shocked but disgusted me. It's the first ever that I experience a retail worker acting as of he inherited this store and you casually and contently ignore an irate customer like arrogance is inbred in you. It's clear that a staff like this is working for the income and not the outcome. A job is not about earning a salary to pay bills; it comes with a role function. If you can't fulfil your job or you have some sort of frustration, let another willing and deserving job-seeker commit and execute this position. Pick n Pay this kind of attitude and behaviour certainly does not match the standards of your brand. No management whatsover overseeing this unprofessional behaviour. Your budget should be spent on committed staffing not wasted; or perhaps proper qualifications and training must be met in order to facilitate smooth and effective running of your busy store. A helpful and polite Thobile assisted me eventually.
