Pay Back The Money
On this day I noticed money disappearing from my Cheque Account. On the 19th April I printed a bank statement which indicated 2 amounts of R400 had been withdrawn from my account from the Pick 'n Pay branch in Tokai, Cape Town. Monday 20th of April I phoned Standard Bank customer care line spoke to 5 different people and was told that it had to be sorted out with Pick 'n Pay. Having then phoned the P'nP I was told to bring a stamped bank statement to the store. I waited 2 days without any correspondence from P'nP, I called their customer care line then a Cecilia from the P'nP called back and informed me that it is not their problem and that it is that of Standard Bank, trying to sort this out with Standard Bank I was told to complete a Chargeback Dispute form which I did and then had to take to the branch for them to verify the given information. After all the back and forth between P'nP and SB to this day I still don't have an answer let alone the actual money. Neither are willing to take responsibility for the error and I am without the funds, how is this fair???
