Pathetic, useless and waste of time - Pick n Pay Ottery Hyper

I am so annoyed at the fact that the managers are nonchalant when one of their staff members F#$% up. So Saturday I did my monthly grocery shopping, get to the till and the cashier says their card machine is offline. She attempts to swipe, it rejects. She swipes again, it goes off on my phone and I advised her of this, she responds and says it didn't go through on her system. I told her but I am going to be charged twice and she says it will reverse. Today is day four of me trying to sort this **** out and get my money back which is not pocket change. I get told to wait a bit longer because weekends don't count and If it doesn't reverse I have to come in the store in person - not only do I not have time to waste but now I must spend extra money to get my own money back. This is pathetic service on another level. I am a single mother and cannot afford to be giving money away and be told to wait a little longer to see if they will refund me or not. Bull**** man, I will not recommend this particular store at all. I want my money back!!!!!!!!
