Pathetic Service - Pick n Pay BLUE HILLS

Pick N Pay Blue Hills . The treatment from this store was just appalling! From my visit from work today , 06th July 2020, i entered the store at 16.30pm.

Firstly, no trolley wipes provided. Visible are 2 bottles of sanitizer , of which 1 was half full and the other completely empty. No paper towels to use to wipe the trolleys. You can view the footage , on how i took my own tissues to wipes my trolley! PLEASE VIEW THE SURVEILLANCE Why is this store not Covid-19 compliant ??

Secondly , It was my turn to pay , both packer and cashier at Till 1, allowed a guy to jump in front of me and proceeded to help him. No decent courtesy to myself ,that was waiting in the long line- PLEASE VIEW YOUR SURVEILLANCE. The packer and the cashier just looked at me and never apologized to me for allowing the customer to jump in front of me .

Thirdly - as i proceeded to place all my items on the conveyor belt at Till 1 @ 17:05pm, the cashier scanned my groceries and started with the 1st bottle wine, Then the damn packer refused to let the cashier scan the rest. He just told me that its after 5pm and they cant serve me !!

If they didn't allow the customer jump the queue, i will be on time . If they spent less time talking , than directing the customers to the tills. If they opened more than 4 tills at peak hour, then maybe we all can be served on time . If this was the so called rule for only this store, then why didn't any staff member advise the customers at the alcohol aisle , that we must pay for our alcohol and then go do the rest of our shopping & go back into the queue ???

No PnP staff member walked through the lines , advising customers of such policy. The cashier was quiet, the packer was chirping like no mans business , then another guy came and was preaching the "Labour Law + The Liquor Board Act " to myself. What the hell, they not even managers or supervisors . One of the men told me that they will start putting up notices, that the alcohol aisle will close at 4.30pm , so they wont have issues at the till. NOBODY can predict the long queues you fools!!!

It was a huge scene with the 2 men continuing to argue with me. Nobody called the supervisor , nor the store manager. The other guy proceeded to the phone and was talking about me ( probably to security)

The packer just wore his grey jersey with NO NAME TAG. The queue director or whatever ,was either named Tshegofatso or Tebogo...you must view the surveillance for 6th July 2020 from 16:30pm , from the time i entered your store.

How can your store make this rule, I was in the store prior to closure and i was shopping !!! How can you tell me , that i cannot be sold the wine!!! They had the nerve to request me to pay for all the other scanned groceries and not my wine. I didn't pay for anything and just walked out.

PLEASE VIEW THE SURVEILLANCE - I WAS AT TILL 1 ( your cashier and those 2 clowns was present )

This is not the first time that Blue Hills Pick n Pay mistreat residents of Midrand .

I require either Area manager / Store manager or Group manager to call me because i want to view the surveillance with yourself Thank You Dev ***
