Pathetic service at Pick n pay southdale

I went to Pick n Pay Southdale together with my wife and 2 babies at 9th April 2024. At 14:30 I was cashing out and after I made payment the machine did not print a receipt however the payment went through as reflected on my bank app. The teller together with the so called manager (that out right refused to give her name) were absolutely rude and made me wait over half an hour as they were trying to figure out what to do. My children were crying and they did not offer a single apology I repeat not a single apology. I never let me leave the store as they said they need to figure out if the payment went through. The teller called my wife an idiot and shouted at us and they said we have no choice but to wait. I would totally understand if the problem was on my part but it had nothing to do with me. Finally after 40 minutes of waiting they said the payment will be reversed and that I have to pay again which I did and again they offered no apology.

This entire incident could have been avoided if they were not rude and were apologetic there would not have been any problem. Even when I asked for an apology they refused. I asked for a voucher for wasting my time, they sarcastically said go to customer service.
