Pathetic Service
<p>I visited pick 'n pay at the crescent on 21 June 2016 to purchase a vodacom tablet. I was ignored during my wait at the cellphone counter. After 20minutes i finally got the attention of a lady named Nonduzo to assist me. So there was a demo tablet that was displayed and i wanted to view the internal storage on the device as the lady was clearly clueless. The device had a pattern lock and the lady said that she did not know how to unlock the device and told me that theres nothing she can do to assist me further. She then walked away from me and started assisting other customers. Finally i approached her again and suggested that she reset the device. 10 minutes later she still hasn't contacted vodacom for assistance. I asked to speak to a manager and she called someone by the name of Duncan. After another 5 - 10 minutes i eventually walked out of the store.</p> <p>The same day i drove to the durban north branch and purchased a vodacom tablet from a very friendly lady named Frieda. Unfortunately the data bundle that was promised with the deal never got loaded to my simcard. I then went back to the store on the 28 June 2016 to query this. I even asked the assistant for 2 more of this tablet deals but because of the poor service from Pick 'n Pay....I reconsidered and refused.3 days later and I still have no joy. Just to note that I have purchased 2 vodacom tablets from Game and I have no issues at all. Does Pick 'n Pay not value me as a customer? The tablet was advertised for R 699 yet with the wasted trip to Crescent on the 21/06 and the wasted trip to the durban north branch on 28/06, I ended up spending over R 1150 ( R300 petrol from Tongaat for the wasted trips and R150 petrol for the purchase). How is this fair to me as a customer??? Never again will i make the mistake of trusting Pick 'n Pay for electronics!!! As the saying goes "what you pay for is what you get"</p>
