PATHETIC ONLINE SHOPPING

Well I consider this as a warning to other readers/customers to consider staying away from Pick + Pay online shopping given the current, unacceptable shambles it is in. I placed an order for delivery 24/05 (yes today) and tried to update this order on Sunday (which customers ARE permitted to do - you can edit any order up to 12:00 of the previous day of delivery which, in this case, would be Tuesday 24/05), only to find my order not showing on P+P website. When I queried this with the call centre on Sunday I was told my order had been moved to "previous purchases", which it was NOT and was NOT listed under "current orders", which is where it should have been, as it had yet to be delivered. I asked why the order was moved and was told it had been closed for "picking", i.e. I could no longer amend the order! I reminded P+P of their rules on their website that customers are allowed to amend orders up to 12:00 of day prior to delivery. Yes, they agree, but could NOT explain why my order was moved. I was informed on Sunday that it would be cancelled and I must reolad the items and checkout the order AGAIN. This resulted in my losing my Tuesday delivery date, as it showed my preferred delivery day as being full, which annoyed me. However I followed the given instructions, reloaded the order and checked out AGAIN for a delivery date of Thursday 26/05, only to find when I logged in Monday 23/05 that I now have 2 delivery dates, i.e. 23/05 AND 26/05. I was told on Sunday the shopping manager would call back same day (Sunday) regarding this - today is Tuesday - nothing! I refuse to waste time and money phoning a sharecall no. to call P+P to complain about their unbelievable, unacceptable, disgraceful service! Who is actually running this service?! Doesn't sound like anybody competent to me - P+P you DO NOT deservce customer service if this is how you treat your online customers - I would rather go into another supermarket than put up with this ridiculous treatment! Oh and I DO NOT (NOTE DO NOT wish to talk to (Aalvara or someone) who was the one who was supposed to call me back Sunday. I want a senior manager in charge (who hopefully has some better idea of running this circus!) Thank you.
