Pathetic Online Service

Hi, I have been shopping with Pick n Pay online since Covid 19 times. I have had issues with their whole online operations from day way. They are simply not compatible but my recent encounter with them was the worst. If the order is not delivered late, they have missing items, defrosted ice, demaged goods or they simply do not deliver sale items

They will advertise goods at a very low price, I place the order and set the delivery for the same day/desired date only to get told that the item is out of stock? Why is an item marked down then not delivered? Is this a marketing strategy to have people order goods then not deliver the units promised to be on special? Why not contact us and produce a Rain Check. Clearly Consumer rights are not considered or cared for.

A few weeks back they had a "Freebie" Special. You add a specific item to get it for free plus free delivery. Only to be told that the item is out of stock? is this a way for them to get you to order only to say "out of stock/not supp**** " at the end of the invoice? They then gave me a R26.99 discount to the order but clearly if i added the freebie and you promised it, shouldn't you ask me (CUSTOMER) if i want the discount or want the freebie?

On top of this false advertising and the poor customer service. The store will not contact you. Their customer support will take weeks and weeks to "try" resolve the case. no one will give you a call as common curtesy . Your case will keep being closed and closed once the consultant tells you that "the store says this and that" who is the store? who packed my order. cant these people give me answers themselves

Their service is pathetic and they have really dropped the ball so many times . I will no longer use their service
