paid for item but item was not packed in trolley

purchased items including a You magazine. After I paid and left the shop I realised that the magazine was not in the bag with the other items. I returned to the till, the cashier spoke to her supervisor who said they will check the CCTV camera. After +/- 2 minutes they notified me that the magazine was placed in a shopping bag. I requested to see the footage, since it could have been accidentally packed with the goods for the person who was in the line before or after me.
