Overcharging and no response, exploiting customers in a dishonest way

<p>On 20 April 2017 I went to Pick n Pay Northgate branch for monthly grocery shopping. Upon arriving at home, after unpacking my goods, my eye caught that I was overcharged for one item where I was double charged as if I bought more than one of the same item. I then scrutinised the slip and to my surprise I was overcharged on three items in total. Now clearly there was a problem with the scanner, but as I was home already, how do I prove this to them. So I sent the slip, told them they could check their stock and advised them on which items I was overcharged. Surprise, surprise, not a single response. So the store is ensuring profits off unsuspecting customers where their scanners either are not working correctly, or it is done on purpose. Surely, I cannot be expected to check each item before I leave the store, is this not what is to be expected from an honest retailer? And to add insult to injury, no response, not even an acknowledgement.</p>
