OVERCHARGED BY A CASHIER
I'm still in shock to find that Pick n Pay is also an underlying dishonest company. They publicly claim to be this great customer service company, but sadly I came to realise that this is just a promotional statement. I went to their store in Paarl Mall on the last day of 2020. I bought this well published vegetable combo. Just to get home and find out the cashier split my purchases and I ended up paying R156, 00 for the published R100, 00 vegetables. Then also to my dismay, I also found that 1 item that were on display for R29, 99,was also a false adverti*****t, because I ended up paying R32.99. This I brought immediately to the attention of Pick n Pay, on their website, under the smart shopper section. Up until today I'm still waiting on an excuse or reason why I was over charged and why didn't the cashier assisted me or giving reasons why she split my purchases. I'm a pensioner and being regarded as a high risk person under the covid 19 regulations and spend minimal times outside of my home. That's the reason why I check my till slips at home. In the hope that retailers will respect my complaints, if any and not ignoring me as a client. Rather safe then sorry.
