Overcharged

I had visited the pick n pay at acropolis mall 2weeks ago. And purchased a few sale items. When I had paid I asked the cashier to check the prices again. She called for the front end manager and I wS told that a R4 refund wS only due. When I got home I reviewed the prices on the newspaper and noticed that I was charged R44 extra on the Basmathi rice. I went to the store and Logan assisted and asked me to bring the rice up to the store. I refused as I was not going to carry a 5kg rice back upstairs as this was no fault of mine. Logan the manager in duty was rude and unhelpful. However I was refunded the amount. And also the vermicelli I was overcharged for and also the royal cream biscuits. I had called the store afterwards and spoke to the store manager Jackie and asked him for compensation of travel to the store. As this was no fault of mine. He called me after 2 days to tell me that he was unable to compensate me for my petrol driving back to the store for being overcharged. Customers. Please be aware of these stores that advertise sale items. But when u purchasing we are being overcharged as most of us don't look at our receipts. I still want my refund and an apology from pick n pay phoenix. ***
