Over Promise and No Delivery

Pick n Pay ASAP app is unreliable in their delivery times and delivery time is only confirmed AFTER you checkout. I placed an order on a Sunday afternoon - 1.5 hours before the store closed. The app told me delivery would be that afternoon so I went ahead with the order (if the app had changed the delivery to Monday, I would not have proceeded with the order). Once I had ordered and checked out the delivery was changed to first thing Monday morning - this was unacceptable as I would be at work. I immediately called the help line to cancel the order but I got an extremely nice assistant who said she would contact the shop and make sure that the order would be delivered that afternoon. The app changed delivery back to Sunday afternoon, but it kept changing by 30 minutes, every 30 minutes, and I was then unable to cancel as the help line closed. I called early on Monday and cancelled and that was completed efficiently but the refund only goes to the Pick n Pay wallet. If you want the payment to be made to the card from which you paid it takes 3 - 10 days for the transfer!
