Ooooooops, Sorry??

So how thrilled I was when PnP special promo flyer stated that you get free gift with purchase of ANY GILLETTE PRODUCT. Knew it was to good to be true. Went to the Bellville store, purchased Gillette item, asked for my GWP, was informed they don't stock the shaving foam. OK, challenged the incorrect info, store manager agreed to write out a rain cheque, redeemable at any branch to get item at no cost. Later that day, PnP local said their not running the promo. Next PnP Kuilsriver supervisor exclaimed that voucher only to be used at store where issued. Hence, on top of voucher it clearly displays "DO NOT STOCK ITEM." Suggested similar item @ similar price range, refused point blank. Told me to go to Hypermarket Brackenfell. More inconvenience. Does any one have the time or energy this time of the year to check every store for availability, think not. Left a lasting impression on me, clearly not a good one. Can I please just get the foam. Bad customer journey, litteraly. Thought Customer is King??
