Online shopping is a waste of time

I shopped online to try save time but I will never do so again. I requested the Personal Shopper call for out of stock / substitutes but never received any notification of out of stock items. 6 of the 20 items I ordered were not delivered! This meant going out to the shops with my 3 children at 6:45pm to get the balance of the items (some were needed to bake for special occasion that night). What's the point of delivery if you have to go out anyway and get out of stock items. If I had been advised, I could have done so during the day! I have sent a complaint via the website and also completed the survey that came with my shopping yesterday evening. However no one has bothered to call or email me today to apologize.
