Online Order - took my money and never delivered my groceries

After much success of using the checkers 60 Min app.. I decided to give the Bottles app (from pick n Pay) a try.

I placed my order at 2pm today,25 Feb. Delivery was set between 4-5pm. After 5pm I went on the app... Delivery changed to 6-7pm... At that point I made contact with support. They went on to tell me that there's an influx of orders and what not and that they can see my gorceries were delivered..... MY ITEMS WERE NEVER DELIVERED!!! I don't know who the delivery guy took them to but it was not me. I never received my items and due to this, my dinner plans were ruined! I also ordered wine which cannot be delivered now cos it's not possible to deliver after Thursday due to Covid rules.

What upsets me the most is, I know it's month end. I know it's busy. But COMMUNICATE! DON'T ACCEPT ORDERS IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE CAPACITY TO FULFIL THEM! Now I'm sitting here at 9pm wondering where my gorceries went to... Cos support could not help me and they knocked off at 5pm and the app says my things were delivered so it must be fine...right?... WRONG!!!!! IT IS NOT FINE!

What's even more frustrating is that I paid R400 for groceries that were NEVER DELIVERED TO ME! Even though the damn app says it was!

The credibility of this app has definitely declined and I will definitely be sharing my experiences with as many people as I can and on as many platforms as I can to prevent this from happening to anyone else.

You can not take people's hard earned money and do this. Do better Pick n Pay. Do better!
