Once again, Axe Ice Chill deodorant not available when you've advertised a special
Axe Ice Chill deodorant: You ran a special this weekend priced at 29.99. I did not find Ice Chill variant in any of the 4 (2 Family & 2 Corporate) stores where I went to to buy. Why not? At each of the stores there were only around four of the wide number of varieties usually available. I see that you list it in your web site so why not available at the stores that I visited? This is not the first time that I've not been able to buy Ice Chill when you've advertised Axe specials

25 Jun 2024, 14:20Not a satisfactory answer. The product is advertised in your weekly flyer delivered in my local Caxton newspaper. The flyer distinctly states that the offered special is avail at Supermarkets and Hypermarkets. Whilst it does go on to state that it's subject to stock availability, what precisely, does that mean? Availability where, at the manufacturer, at your distribution centres but, it would seem, not at stores in this instance., I now suspect that what I saw in the four stores was not actually recently received stock - specifically for the special offer - but existing stock that was down-priced as per the special - meaning that they did not actually receive fresh stocks. Would that be correct? The flyer reads that "Assorted" fragrances are available which, if my new understanding is correct, should read something like "only available for existing stock in-store". I think that your advertising is thus misleading and I am weighing up a complaint to the Advertising Regulatory Board and the Consumer Goods Council
