OLD COOKING OIL

Last week I bought friend chips (french fries) from the Deli at Pick n Pay (Bara Taxi Rank). I could not eat them as they tasted bad. I felt like throwing up and had heart burn. The oil used is not changed and smells bad. the chips were even dark in colour since they re-heat cooking oil. Today my colleague and I bought fried fish from the same Deli. AGAIN, we had to throw it out. The oil used was old and re-used. The fish did not smell like fish due to the old oil used. <br> <br> I'm disappointed as I did not expect this from Pick n Pay. Its unhygienic to reheat oil and reuse it, I'm sure its against the law. Just because this shop is at Soweto does not mean we should receive sub standard quality of goods.
