Offer retrenchments? Just fire the staff who can't do the job!

<p>I call it "Pick 'n Pray U can Pay". Great shopping but it can take up to an hour to pay. I usually dump the trolley and go to Checkers or the Spar. I refuse to stand in a queue for an hour while the frozen products are melting in my trolley. Why offer retrenchments? You will lose your best staff. Retrench the staff who are too busy on their cellphones to serve customers. Retrench managers who do not open enough tills. Retrench the staff who shout across the supermarket and make shopping a dreadful experience. Good staff will take the retrenchment package and service at PnP will get worse. I suggest that PnP manage their staff problems. This is the ideal time to get rid of the staff who do not add value to your business. </p>
