Oero s**** confuses Pick n Pay staff

So we did our monthly shop as usual at PnP Birchleigh kempton Park. One of the specials that they have advertised in their newsletter was that you would get a free Oero s**** when you buy 2 X 176g Oreo biscuit packs. As the s**** was not attached to a combo box we automatically assumed that the cashier would give it to us. Got to the cashier and she had no clue what we were talking about until we referrred her to the newsletter that she had stockpiled on the packing area next to her.

The cashier said that as she did not have the s**** then the s**** would have had to be in the box. We tried to explain to her that there was simply not enough space for the s****, unless ofcourse by virtue of the special the biscuits were reduced in size to accomodate the s****.

Two supervisors and four cashiers agreed with the assumption of the first cashier that the s**** had to be in the box. We tried explaining that if the s**** was in the box why would there be a need to buy two boxes to qualify for one s****.

But us shoppers are obviously too stupid to comprehend that simple math. So all six of them watched as the box was ripped open, and with the exception of the foil wrapped biscuits, the box was bare. That did not stop them, they looked under the box hoping for a secret compartment, but alas it also was not there. So they decided to open the foil packet just incase the s**** was hidden between the biscuits. That too proved pointless.

I was waiting for them to bite into the biscuit, but they disappointed me in that regard, and then came to the realisation that maybe all stores were not given the s****s and so they suugested that we drive to Greenstone and claim the s**** from the Hyper Market, and that we would have to take the torn up box of biscuits with us.

On hind sight I should have filmed the whole ordeal because no one in their right minds will believe this story.
