Not nice service delivery, not nice ASAP app either

On Monday afternoon, 5th Dec’22, I placed an order on the PnP App. I received a tray of eggs that had cracked eggs. Parts of the tray was messed. I emailed ASAP to complain about it. I checked the balance of the order. I ordered 4 back bacon & received 4 shoulder bacon & 1 back bacon. I prepared the back bacon that same evening because that was my order and I was hungry. When I tasted it after it was cooked, I tasted sour. I emailed PnP ASAP again and included the incorrect order of bacon. Their combined resolution, which was received in parts on 8th & 9th Dec’22 because I had to ask what and why, was a R5 promo code for 2 cracked eggs and I was to take the bacon back to the store to either exchange or refund… What’s the point of ordering on the PnP App if I am to return to the store to correct my order? If the store doesn’t have the item, don’t pick an alternative. Don’t inconvenience the customer to make money because that’s how it’s coming across. I don’t have a car as yet to just drive to PnP and exchange/refund an order.

In addition to this, for month’s I’ve been asking the PnP contact centre why the PnP app doesn’t allow for more than 1 promo code to be accepted and I was getting answers that didn’t even tie in with what I was asking until last week, 1 agent said that the app only accepts 1 promo code per time so if I was eligible for free delivery and I received an additional promo code, like this R5 that PnP gave for 2 cracked eggs, then I wouldn’t be able to use both in one order. I would have to place 2 orders just to use both.

The app purchase limit is R100 but if I order for that amount and I use a promo code or what’s in my App wallet to offset part of the amount, the app doesn’t allow for you to go to the payment screen. The amount that you must pay MUST be R100 or more after you offset with a promo code or money from your App wallet.

It’s enough that orders don’t arrive in 60 minutes and the store is less than 10 minutes away but for all of this… I am just so fed up and very tired with PnP, the service provided, and their app that’s supposed to make life easier.
