Norwood Hypermarker

Yesterday, the 16th June I went shopping at the Pick N Pay Hypermarket Norwood. I am a regular customer there. It was extremely busy. I had 2 x R100 notes and some coins. I stood in a long que before I could pay. Non the less, when the teller rung up my groceries and I gave in my 2 x R100 notes, the teller refused to accept the 1 x R100 note saying that there was something wrong with it. She called one of the managers and she too refused to take my R100 note. I was extremely embarrassed as there was along que behind me and I had to leave my shopping behind as this was the only money I had with me. I had drawn this money out of my bank account and it was the only money I had. I then went off to Spar in Norwood and they accepted my money. Of course I laid a complaint but not one person from Pick N Pay has called me. It is absolutely disgusting at the way I was treated and I will not ever again go shopping at Pick N Pay Norwood Hypermarket. It shameful as to how consumers are treated like this when food is so expensive and one battles to pay for food items. Sis on you Norwood Hypermarket!
