Non Existent Customer Service
I am convinced that Pick n Pay have no idea what customer service means. I logged a complaint under the heading "Potential False Advertising" as their Summerfields branch & the branch On Republic did have stock of the PnP Extra Olive Oil they advertised @ R 170.00 for 2 bottles.
I got a call from Summerfields stating that they ordered the stock 2 weeks before the promotion and DC did not deliver - End of Discussion ( My interpretation being so its not their problem), the very same day I got a call from On Republic stating that they had stock (Implying that I am lying, despite stating that I visited the shop on 2 occasions and there was no stock on the shelves). I then received an email stating that "Service Request has been Completed" I called the customer care line expressing my dissatisfaction as to how my complaint was handled, I was promised that an area manager would take up my complaint, three days later and no call from the area manager I received an email stating that Service Request has been Completed. I called customer care yesterday (25.04.2022) and was told that my complaint has been escalated to the regional manager . Does Pick n Pay think that I have nothing better to do than to make up these complaints despite Summerfields stating they ordered the item but it was not delivered hence confirming they had no stock So where to from here Hello Peter, do we just let businesses get away with such on existent Customer Service?
