No stock of advertised product

Went to Pick n Pay Hyoer Brackenfell to purchase a Goldair air cooler on first day of promotion for R899, and they had no stock. Person in aisle claimed they would have stock the following week and promised to call me when stock was received. I again went on Monday, and was again told that no stock was received. Again my details were taken with the promise to call back. Why does PnP advertise goods in their catalogues when they dont have stock. They like other retail stores are blatantly baiting the public go their stores in contravention of the Consumer protection Act, by advertising goods they do not have stock of, and then letting the salesperson try and sell them a similar more expensive product. This is not on Pick n Pay.
