No Stock at Pick n Pay Hypermarket Port Elizabeth - 7 Kg Defy Automatic washing Machine (Model DAW376)

<p>On Friday 26 August 2016, I visited Pick n Pay Hypermarket Moffet Retail Park in Port Elizabeth to purchase the above mentioned washing as advertised by the company in THEIR advertising brochure with prices valid from 23 August - 4 September 2016. They had no stock available and informed me that they would not have stock for 2 weeks ! A quick check of the opposition revealed that Game, Builders Warehouse etc., all had stock, but Pick n Pay did not and would not have stock for 2 weeks according to their General Manager Colin Sylvester. Upon informing him that someone had not done their job, he got rude towards me in the store and said, "you should have checked that we had stock". REALLY ?????? </p> <p>The only reason why I decided to buy from Pick n Pay was because they advertised the product for R3990, whilst their opposition was adversiting it for R4490 - - a difference of R500. I find it strange that a company would advertise something, and then tell the customer that they would not have stock for 2 weeks. Is this a ploy to attract customers ? I seriously doubt that I would ever buy anything from Pick n Pay again.</p>
