No sale at price displayed on shelf

<p>Date: 14/10/16 Time: 10:15</p> <p>Tried to purchase OMO Ultra washing capsules - only two price tags displayed for two items of OMO on shelf. +-R59.99 for the smaller(14 capsules) and R87.99 for the bigger(30 capsules). Bigger one a bargain, I took a packet ? Not bargain!!! At pay counter, price now R112.00. Cannot be!! Go back to shelf with cashier-she verifies and takes price tag off shelf and manager is called and shown/informed.</p> <p>He tells cashier not to interfere and says will not sell item at displayed price- as very small printed item coding on price tag does not match that on item even though only two items are on shelf and only two corresponding price tags are present. Apparently not company policy to sell items at price displayed.</p> <p>Is this fair practice??</p>
