No response or acknowledgement of complaint

Purchased boxes of Pick N Pay's melba toast on 05/07/15 for purposes of serving to guests expected later that day. When I opened the boxes at home, all the packs inside the boxes were broken and the melba toast was in pieces - which I clearly could not serve to guests and had to run out to a closer shop to get an alternative. I sent a complaint via PnP's website on 06/07/15 - reference no. 466644. I followed up on 09/07/15 as I hadn't been contacted or my complaint acknowledged. Resubmitted another complaint on 10/07/15 - reference no. 467374. To date I haven't even received the courtesy of an acknowledgement or response from Pick n Pay. I am disgusted beyond words that as a long standing customer my complaint is neither acknowledged nor responded to. If Pick n Pay can't be bothered with me, then I can't be bothered with them and they can forget any future patronage from my family and I. There are other retailers who actually bother to try and offer customer service and are actually much closer to my home, so goodbye PnP.
