No Pensioners discount at PnP Rayton.

Pick'nPay stores are a favorite of many a South African consumer for their well placed shops as well as a huge variety of household items that they sell. I personally know my grocer as i buy from them for many years now. One gets accustomed to their good services and caring attitude which many people appreciate, especially the elderly who receive minimum pension. Most stores are helping their neighborhood elders and by that, have a solid foundation of followers.

There is plenty room for improvement at PnP Rayton however, pensioners are not recognized. Old-age grants of R1980 a month must stretch in so far as cost of living does not go down. Transport is also playing a huge factor in this as everybody knows that rural transport is not readily available and cost a fortune, even if you have your own car, it is still expensive to maintain and to keep it on the road. As a pensioner myself, i would like to ask PnP Rayton to implement a pensioners day where one like myself, can buy at least a few luxuries like a white bread, or an ice cream every now and then. Do not take it for granted that everybody can afford to buy a tin of jam or some coffee, things that everybody uses everyday. It is your duty as owners of community supported shops to look after your community as well. I am sure there are many more that feels the same way.
