No feedback after it is promised

What pathetic service received today at Pick N Pay Tokai Centre. I went as early as possible to get a special marked item. Once there i am told they are taking orders and once the goods arrived they will call to advise. So i call them a few hours later and my line is cut by a guy in the butcher not once but twice! How clever of him to refuse to give his name when answering the call. Nevertheless i go back to the store to speak to the manager only to be told he cannot honor the earlier arrangement made by the staff member! <br> <br> I was there before those people with a promise of a returned call that is why i left or i would've received what i came for. <br> <br> The mission statement is such a contradiction of the experience today it is really unbelievable. The lady behind the meat counter shouting at customers that it's not their problem. <br> <br> I will in future avoid going to that store. I would rather pay a bit more with much better service than being treated as if my money means nothing to them. <br> <br>
