No concessions for pensioners at Pick n Pay, Gordon's Bay

This morning before 10am I wanted to buy ONE item from Pick n Pay in Gordon's Bay. I ran in, picked it up and then proceeded to the tills. Every single till had a long queue of people with full trolleys - I had forgotten that it is month end. There was no express till and the cigarette counter was closed. I am in my 70s and no way was I going to stand in a long queue to buy one item. I just put the item down and walked out, but told the young man at the customer service on my way out. He showed no interest whatsoever.
