NEWS FLASH!!!! Frozen Turkey is NOT classified as Poultry at Pick n Pay

<p>Did some Christmas dinner shopping at Pick n Pay Canal Walk this morning. Checked and received a number of SmartShopper vouchers at the the kiosk terminal - one of which was for 2 x Points On ALL Poultry. So decided then to purchase a PnP frozen Turkey - somewhat expensive but thought as it's double points it does reduce the overall cost slightly. After checkout I was surprised to see that only the fresh chicken I bought received double points and the frozen turkey not. Queried it, and after a long wait, I was advised that a Frozen Turkey is a different category and I guess does not get classified as poultry! Can you believe it? Especially when the SmartShopper voucher says 'ALL' Poultry...and it does not specify 'ONLY FRESH' or 'EXCLUDING FROZEN' Poultry.</p> <p><br />And to top off the shopping experience, today is the last day of the Stikeez promotion - so of course they'd have none left! Also made my daughters day as she was looking forward to getting 5 with today's shop!</p>
