new onine shopping policy?

I don't understand how your new online shopping works. You charge my credit card for the full order amount, but don't deliver everything as you don't have stock. When calling your call center, I have been told I need to contact my bank? This will happen every month going forward as its some new process. How does this even make any sense? PS. I have been using your online shopping for over a year with no problem when there is no stock.

Hi David,

Thank you for taking the time to address your concerns with us.

We aren’t charging you a day before delivery; we’re introducing a payment authorisation check that will run a day before delivery, to make sure you have sufficient funds to cover the cost of your order. Depending on your bank, you may receive a notification telling you that funds have been reserved for your Pick n Pay Online purchase. However, your final invoice amount will only be debited against your card once we have picked the products for your order – usually, the day of delivery or the evening before.

Please click on this link to find out more about payment reservations. >>> https://www.pnp.co.za/pnpstorefront/pnp/en/faq

We appreciate your feedback and value you as a loyal Pick n Pay customer and are committed to improve continually on our service levels.

Kind regards,

Vanitha Venketas
